Papa Ojo Bamgboye

Prof. Siyanbola Tomori

Prof Siyanbola Tomori was a staff of the Department of Economics, University of Lagos, from 1970 to 2006. He was Acting Head of the Department in 1980/1981 and Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, between 1987 and 1991.He was a member of Senate, at different times, where he chaired and served on many University Committees and Boards. He also served as a member of the Governing Council of the University of Lagos between 2000 and 2004.

Prof. Funso Akere

He was appointed to the Nigerian Educational Research & Development Council, Sheda, Abuja (1991 - 1993). In 2002, appointed as the Vice-Chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State (2002 - 2006) and as the Pro-Chancellor & Chairman of the Governing Council of Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (2010-2014).

Prof. Ade Kukoyi

Prof. Ade Kukoyi now retired was a Professor of Romantic and Comparative Literatures at the Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos. He served at the University from 1966 till 2005. He had an earlier short stint as a French Lecturer at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, from 1965-1966. He had been the first Nigerian French graduate having from the University of Ibadan in 1965.

Dr. Babafemi Badejo

He has extensive experience in academics at the University of California, Los Angeles and University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria. He trained many successful former students holding major national and international posts as well as undertook research that resulted in several publications, including a best seller analytical book on politics in Kenya.

Prof. Kayode Oguntunashe

Professor Oguntuashe has assisted the Federal Government in drafting at least two National Policies, one on Youth Development , the other on the Integrated Early Childhood Care and Development policy. He has held consultancy positions in UNICEF, World Bank, NERDC, FME etc. Prof. Oguntuashe has served on several management committees both at the University and outside of it.

Rtd. Commodore Olu Abegunde

COMMODORE OLU ABEGUNDE (rtd) DSS, psc+, fwc+, B.Sc, MLS, mni. He specialized in Security and Strategy and had delivered Papers at Workshops and Seminars both in Nigeria and overseas. The Commodore has widely travelled in countries of Africa, Europe, North and South America and Asia. He retired on December 31, 2003 and he is presently engaged in Training and Community Service.

Surv. Remi Aromiwura

His inquisitiveness, passion and analytical background coupled with training exposures in Airport/Aviation planning and Management variously at Singapore, Montreal – Canada, United Kingdom and Exchange programs at Miami Int’l Airport in United States of America along with a number local seminars and workshops, strengthened his grip on managerial assignments.

Mr. Ebun Sofunde (SAN)

Prof. Duro Oni

A versatile Academic and Administrator, Professor Duro Oni has nine books and over 60 academic publications in national and international outlets. A Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters and also Fellow, Society of Nigerian Theatre Artistes. He was a Member of the University of Lagos Governing for 8 years (2007-2011 and 2013-2017). He holds the BFA & MFA degrees from the California Institute of the Arts and a Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan.

Prof. Kola Kusemiju

Kola Kusemiju is an Emeritus Professor of Marine Science at the University of Lagos. His areas of specialization are Fisheries Biology and Marine Ecology. He is a Fellow of Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON) and served as Chairman Council of Fellows from 1999 to 2009. He has produced several Professors and Directors in his area of specialization.

Prof. Francis Fajemirokun

Emeritus Professor, University of Lagos, he is an expert in Surveying, Geodesy and Geoinformatics. Was Chairman, Lagos State Tertiary Education Review Committee1984. National President, Nigeria Institution of Surveyors, and Nigeria Union of Planetary and Radio Sciences. Was Chairman , Nigeria Association of Geodesy. His former students hold top positions such as Head of Survey Companies, Surveyor General of States and Surveyor General of the Federation. He is an Archdeacon of the Church of Nigeria.

Professor Wale Balogun is a retired professor of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. He is a chartered engineer and a Fellow of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Academy of Engineering. He has consulted widely in Metalforming, Foundry Technology, Plant Engineering Evaluation and Building Services Engineering. He is a principal partner in Messrs Spralt Engineering and the CEO of Great Aquarius Nigeria Limited.

Professor H O D Longe is a retired Professor of University of Lagos; attended Friendship University Moscow, Russia where he obtained M.Sc degree in Mathematics (Computational Mathematics) in 1973; attended University of Reading, UK and obtained a PhD in Computer science (Software Engineering ) in 1981. Currently an Adjunct Professor in Bells University of Technology, Ota.

Dr. Sanmi Ajaja

Dr Ajaja taught Mathematics and Actuarial Science in Unilag from 1969 until he joined the National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria as the pioneer R&D manager in 1980. He retired from NICON In 1996 after serving four years on secondment as The DG of The West African Insurance Institute in The Gambia. He was Commisioner for Commerce and Industry in the old Ondo State from 1985 to 1987.

Daniel O. Omotilewa is a legal practitioner with a Masters Degree in Law (LL.M), from the University of Ibadan. He practices under the name and style of Daniel Omotilewa & Co. and has been in practice for upward of twenty-five (25) years. He is happily married to Mrs. Adeola Omotilewa, also a legal practitioner and the marriage is blessed with children.
